                                  Storm Facts

  • Between June 19 and June 27, 2006, over 12 inches of rain fell in the Washington, DC Metro area causing severe flooding. The result was tens of millions of dollars in damage to homes and businesses. (NOAA)

  • September 19, 2003, Hurricane Isabel tore a path through the entire DC and Baltimore Metro areas. Known as the most destructive hurricane to ever hit the area, tidal flooding and downed trees caused billions of dollars in property damage.
